Clandulla State Gallery, is currently seeking expressions of interest from artists for our second Survey Show to be held on Saturday 9 June, 2018.
Clandulla State Gallery is the largest art gallery in the world, being co-extensive with Clandulla State Forest, near Kandos NSW. The gallery boasts over 1400 hectares of exhibition space and is the only art gallery in the world that is also a forest.
We are currently planning our second large scale survey exhibition of Australian art and are seeking proposals from artists wishing to participate. The exhibition is open to all artists, of any age, working in any medium, at any stage in their career. Those interested in participating are encouraged to read the exhibition brief, fill out the short proposal form below and submit it before the deadline May 4
“…even in his most artificial creations, nature is the material upon which man has to work” – Marcel Proust
Artists are asked to conceive of work that reflects upon the context of its exhibition, a living forest.
